Some programs will immediately approve your application, while others may require you to wait for few days until further verification has been completed. Once it has been approved, you will be provided with information that you can use for your website and other details regarding your user account, sales leads, commissions, etc.
Things to Consider When Choosing an Affiliate Network
For newbie’s, finding a legit affiliate program might be quite daunting. You might think that this could be some sort of a scam or a pyramiding scheme that would only walk away with your money, when in fact it is a sustainable business strategy that would take you to top level you never thought you can reach at a very short time with fewer efforts and less hassles.
When choosing a network, don’t just look on the payment scheme. Instead, choose the one that is closely related to your target market. Let’s say you are targeting health-conscious individuals. It would be best if you choose networks that offer food supplements, fitness programs, weight loss products, and many other related products or services for these can generate higher revenue.
You may also sign up for few high ticket affiliate programs for these can provide you with greater number of relevant advertisers. Come to think of it. What’s the point of placing general advertisement to your website if nobody is going to click it? So better have at least two or three suitable advertisers that are relevant to your target audience.
